Work in devotion and Fruitive results

"One who is in knowledge of the Absolute Truth, O mighty-armed, does not engage himself in the senses and sense gratification, knowing well the differences between work in devotion and work for fruitive results."

Activities are enacted by the senses

All activities are being enacted by the senses of the material nature without exception; but the unrealized, deluded by false identification of being the body, thus thinks “I am the doer.”

Human Life

But for one who takes pleasure in the self, whose human life is one of self-realization, and who is satisfied in the self only, fully satiated—for him there is no duty."

Perform Your Duty

"Perform your prescribed duty, for doing so is better than not working. One cannot even maintain one’s physical body without work."

Karma Yoga

If a sincere person tries to control the active senses by the mind and begins karma-yoga [in Krishna consciousness] without attachment, he is by far superior."

Knower of Truth

A knower of the truth of the fruitive actions of the senses and their diverse functions, he observing that it is the senses engaging in sense objects, does not become attached.

Bondage of actions

Those persons who execute their duties according to My injunctions and who follow this teaching faithfully, without envy, become free from the bondage of fruitive actions."
